Enhanced Lifestyles is a member-governed, not-for-profit disability support organisation rooted in lived experience. Founded and led by people with disability, the organisation delivers person-centred services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across South Australia, with a particular footprint in Adelaide, the Riverland and the Limestone Coast (Mount Gambier). Its guiding tagline is: Disability support the way it should be. By you, for you®.
The organisation’s workforce—known as Lifestyle Attendants—provides flexible, respectful support designed to keep people in control of their everyday lives. Enhanced Lifestyles focuses on practical, day-to-day independence rather than institutional care: supports are tailored to each person’s priorities, routines and goals, and delivered with dignity and choice.
Core services include:
• Personal care — one-to-one assistance with hygiene, dressing, toileting and related activities.
• In-home support — domestic assistance, meal preparation, grocery support, household tasks and administrative help to enable independent living at home (no light maintenance above shoulder height).
• In-home respite — short-term, in-home relief for carers (delivered in Adelaide, Riverland and Limestone Coast).
• Supported Independent Living (SIL) — 24/7 supported living options and vacancies in Adelaide (and SIL services in the Riverland); SIL is not provided in the Limestone Coast.
• Support Coordination — practical assistance to implement and get value from an NDIS plan.
• Psychosocial Recovery Coaching — recovery-oriented coaching (note: not provided in the Riverland).
• Behaviour Support — specialist, evidence-based positive behaviour support led by a Behaviour Support Practice Leader who oversees plans, trains staff, and ensures regulatory compliance.
Enhanced Lifestyles does not provide NDIS plan management; that service is not offered.
Beyond direct supports, the organisation runs member events (Lifestyle Lunches, Coffee Clubs and local activities) and emphasises local, community-based connections. Homes and living options prioritise compatibility—matching housemates and Lifestyle Attendants by personality, skills and training (for example, mealtime management or dysphagia training where required).
As an NDIS registered provider, Enhanced Lifestyles positions itself around practical outcomes: helping people with disability access funded supports, develop everyday living skills, and live as independently as possible while keeping choice and control firmly with the individual.
